If you are using free web hosting or cheap one, which give you limit on web space and bandwidth. So, you may not want to use your web space on lot of images. Instead of that, you prefer to host them on other image hosting sites, but which one is good. Here is top five image hosting site with detail information.

1. Imageshack.us

Imageshack is best image hosting site with lot of features and options. I will recommend you to use imageshack, not just because I love imageshack, but I used all other and didn’t like much. They give you hotlink, so you can use them on your blog using IMG html tag. They have some of cool features such as uploading multiple files at one time, resizing option and make sideshow of your images. Of couse you need account, if you want to keep files forever. You can use application to upload files from blueberry, android and iPhone.

2. Photobucket.com

Photobucket is good but not the best. Unlike imageshack, they are more complicated. It take while to get used to photobucket. Photobucket give you option to upload as many image you want from url, while you can’t from imageshack. Most important feature of photobucket is that you can upload image using email, phone by personal email address provided by photobucket. They have application only for iPhone and iPod touch.

3. upload house:

Uploadhouse give you permission to upload up t0 2MB file. You can protect file giving password to it. You can resize image using their tools. You can upload image with out making account. They also provide direct link. You can also get link for thumbnail image.

4. Imgplace.com

Most important thing about imgplace is they allowed 5MB image file size. Imgplace lack many features such as uploading image from url, you can’t make account to keep track of your images. Imgplace is powered by imageshack, so I prefer to upload on imageshack. I love this because I can upload file up to 5MB size.

5. Imagehosting.gr

You can upload file from computer and url, but temporary, these feature is disabled. You can resize image and make it private too. Water mark on image is their unique feature. You can make watermark using top, bottom and middle options wherever you want on image.

People who are blogging on self-hosted WordPress already have lots of hosting space for their files; people blogging in Blogspot have Google’s 1GB space free which, I think, is enough. Normally bloggers should not require any other image uploading service. But I agree with you, Imageshack is also in my preference list.

Do these work on uploading for iPod Touches &
iPhones? I don’t think so… Got any other sites that could? But
thanks for the info. My computer died & I only have my iPod
Touh left. I want to post my pics but can’t! This is horrible.
Sometimes I really HATE Apple.
